Passion is a metric in YoScan that helps measure how many posts, on average, each author publishes on a certain topic. This metric can help you understand how involved your audience is in your discussion topic.

Passion is calculated by dividing the total number of mentions in a topic by the total number of authors.

☝️ For the sake of accuracy, we only count mentions with known authors (some online platforms make it difficult to identify the author).

For example, if the passion ratio is 1.5, this means 100 authors publish 150 posts on average.

Or if passion is 2, we can conclude that each author published an average of 2 posts in this topic.

You can see the Passion metric for your topic in Analytics under Overview.
