Here at YouScan, we are constantly on the lookout for the most accurate and up-to-date information from social media in order to ensure optimal coverage of all popular online platforms.

Our database of source websites is constantly updated. We add monitoring resources through client requests as well as internal coverage audits.

Coverage audits are done quarterly, when new platforms are evaluated and included in our scope of monitoring. Websites are prioritized by site activity (regular updates) and user activity on that platform.

We also add platforms to our monitoring coverage by requests from you, our clients. If the website you want to monitor is not in our current source database yet, please email the list of sources you'd like to monitor to in the following format:

  1. Source URL;

  2. Type of source (news media, forum, review site);

  3. Link to an example of a mention from this source (the latest review or post should be no older than a week);

If the source contains multiple sections (for example, it has both a forum and a news page) that you want to monitor, include a separate link to each of the desired sections on a separate line.

We will check the list and see whether the requested sources are already in our expanded coverage plans. We will get back to you within 14 days to let you know whether we can include it, and when you should expect to see it in your monitoring topics.

Depending on the technical specifications of the site, it can take anywhere from a week to several months to start collecting data from it.
