How to track the volume of mentions and manage the limits in your account

You can check which pricing plan you currently use in your account settings in the "Account info" section.

Starter Plan

👉 Starter plan is ideal for small businesses and startups.
  • Includes 3 fixed topics - scaling the number of topics is not possible.

  • Each topic has a maximum limit of 5,000 new mentions per month.

  • Historical data covers the last 30 days.

Listen and Analyze Plans

👉 The Listen and Analyze plans are perfect for companies managing multiple brands or campaigns that require frequent adjustments by replacing old topics with new ones.

Topic and mention limits:

  • Each plan includes a fixed number of topics, with the option to purchase more in increments of 5 (+5, +10, +15, etc.).

  • If all topics are in use, you can delete a topic or expand your plan with additional slots.

  • Mention limits apply when creating or editing topics but do not restrict ongoing collection.

  • Listen: Up to 10,000 new mentions per topic/month

  • Analyze: Up to 100,000 new mentions per topic/month

  • Unlimited historical data

Handling mention spikes:

  • If a topic exceeds its mention limit due to a spike, extra mentions will still be collected.

  • However, you won’t be able to edit the search query once the limit is exceeded.

  • You must upgrade to a higher plan if your topics frequently exceed the limit.

  • Exceeding the limit in one topic does not affect others.

  • You can delete and create new topics as needed.

  • Merging topics is an option.

  • Sampling can help manage large topics efficiently.

Enterprise Plan

👉 This plan is ideal if you need more flexibility and freedom:
- You can create as many topics as you need.
- You get unlimited sampled mentions.

Topic & mention limits:

  • Unlimited topics – Create as many topics as needed, varying in size.

  • Monthly account-wide mention limit – Mentions are counted across all topics within your account.

How mention limits are updated:

  • Your mention limit resets on the 1st of every month.

  • ⚠️ If you reach your monthly mention limit, new topics cannot be created until the next reset. Deleting topics won’t free up mentions.

How to track your mention limits:

  1. Go to “Account Settings.”

  2. Select “Account Info.”

  3. Scroll down to find:

    • Period – your mention tracking timeframe.

    • Mention limit – the maximum mentions allowed.

    • Collected – your current usage.


This helps you manage your monitoring topics efficiently and stay within your plan’s limits.
